Since the foundation of the GCC Association of Immunology and Rheumatology in 2021, our association has been recognised as a respected and reputable non-profit organisation that has advanced rheumatology knowledge and developed competencies among healthcare professionals which has improved the health of people with rheumatic and related diseases.
We are delighted to announce the launch of this novel and first of its kind immunology summit in the region aiming for rheumatologists, immunologists, fellows, trainees, researchers, physicians and health care professionals who care for patients with rheumatic diseases.
The current understanding of rheumatic diseases’ molecular and immunological pathogenesis at unprecedented depth and the rapid development of new therapeutic agents and state of the art treatment approaches increased the urge for clinician to understand these pathways. Immunology is the heart and soul of rheumatology and grasping the essence of this topic is essential to shape current and future rheumatologists.
